WARNING:Do not take this if you are pregnant or are nursing. Avoid if you have a known genetic mutation of the G6PD gene. Sero-tonin Synd-rome (a life-threatening condition) was seen in surgeries where very high doses of methylene blue were administered with SS-RIs, drugs that increase serotonin, and there were lethal effects. The FDA maintains a warning to not combine methylene blue with SS-RI however, the Mayo Clinic retracted this warning, and the country of Canada has as well. Do not use methylene blue with SS-RIs or medicines such as MDMA, MDA, and Ayahuasca as they increase serotonin or have MAO-I properties like methylene blue. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use it if the packaging is open or damaged. As with any nutrient, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek the advice of a healthcare provider before using this product. Avoid if you have a known genetic mutation of the G6-PD gene.
