Once inhabited by the indigenous Miami, this fallow ground now produces hemp: one of the oldest domesticated and useful crops in the world. Hemp can be grown as a renewable source for raw materials that can be incorporated into thousands of products. The flower and seeds are used in health care, organic body care, and other superfoods.

                                                                                The fibers and stalks are used in biofuel, construction materials, hemp clothing, paper, plastic composites, and many more. The flowers are rich in oil and can be extracted for cannabinoids like CBD, CBG, and CBN. Hemp and medical/recreational cannabis come from the same species of plant, but are genetically distinct and are further distinguished by use, chemical composition, and cultivation methods. What defines “hemp” is a cannabis plant containing less than .3% Delta 9 THC.
