CBD is generally well tolerated in dogs when dosed correctly by weight using products formulated specifically for animals – never repurposed human products or any product containing THC or Delta 8.
Pet-specific CBD formulations contain the same hemp-derived CBD as human products but are manufactured at concentrations and carrier oils appropriate for animal metabolism. The most important factor is accurate weight-based dosing: our 500mg pet oil is recommended for dogs under 40 pounds, and our 1000mg formulation for dogs 40 pounds and over. Too little produces no benefit; too much can cause temporary lethargy or digestive upset. Delta 8 and full spectrum products are never appropriate for pets under any circumstances – only CBD isolate pet formulations.
