Is All CBD the Same?
From the outside, it all looks similar. Bottles, labels, hemp, natural, high potency. It blends together. But what is inside those bottles can be completely different. The difference starts at the source.
How It Is Grown Matters
Hemp is a phyto-remediator. That means it pulls compounds out of the soil — both beneficial nutrients and unwanted contaminants. If it is grown in poor soil or exposed to pesticides, heavy metals, or other toxins, the plant can absorb those as well. That carries through into the final product. If it is grown correctly, in clean, well-managed conditions, you start with a much better foundation. You cannot fix poor-quality input later in the process.
How It Is Processed Matters
Once the plant is harvested, it has to be extracted. There are clean ways to do this and there are cheap ways to do this. The method used affects purity, potency, and what compounds are preserved or lost.
How It Is Formulated Matters
Two products can say 1000mg CBD and perform completely differently depending on how they are built. The carrier oil, the concentration, the extract type, and how the product is designed to be absorbed all play a role. Full spectrum versus isolate matters here too. A product that is not designed well may not produce results regardless of how much CBD it claims to contain.
Testing Is Not Optional
If a product is not tested, you do not know what is in it. You should be able to see third-party lab results that confirm cannabinoid content, THC levels, and that it is free from contaminants. If you cannot verify it, you are guessing. At Banner Harvest, every product goes to a DEA-registered laboratory for full panel testing covering potency, pesticides, heavy metals, microbials, and residual solvents. Every result is published. You can verify before you buy.
