This work began long before any of that.
Between the two of us, our foundation in this plant spans cultivation lineage, lived cultural history, years in regulated cannabis production environments in Colorado, and a lifelong relationship with hemp and cannabis that predates modern industry entirely.
And today, we operate Banner Harvest from Leesburg, Florida, on the edge of The Villages, serving a population that is in many ways just beginning to encounter what we have spent our entire lives understanding.

Paul’s background is rooted in decades of direct cultivation and cannabis industry evolution, from early experiential cultivation environments to the first structured regulated cannabis operations in Colorado. This includes hands-on work in large-scale cultivation systems during the earliest legal framework years, where consistency, compliance, and plant integrity were not optional. They were survival.
Yolanda’s path is equally foundational, but from a completely different angle, grounded in healthcare exposure, patient experience, and the direct observation of how modern systems treat symptoms instead of causes.
Banner Harvest sits at the intersection of those two realities: cultivation integrity, clinical awareness of human systems, and a lived, cultural relationship with the plant itself.

After years of working directly with customers, one pattern shows up consistently: it is not that CBD is inconsistent. It is that the inputs are inconsistent.

Why Banner Harvest Exists in the First Place

Our roots began long before Florida retail. They include cultivation experience in Colorado during the earliest legal cannabis era, direct involvement in large-scale regulated grows including Willie’s Reserve operations, years of studying cultivation practices across Jamaica, Amsterdam, and other global cannabis cultures, and ultimately building our own hemp farm in Banner, Illinois in 2018.
That farm was not symbolic. It was physical labor: 15,000 hemp seedlings planted by hand, by family, in soil that had been left dormant for years. No outsourcing. No contract farming. No distance between intention and product.
That philosophy never changed when we moved to Florida. It simply came with us.
